Mitered finger-hole box

Natural black lines wind through pale spalted beech, giving this box a pattern all its own. Crisp mitered corners let the grain flow around the sides, while three dark wooden splines at each corner add strength and contrast.

Semicircular finger openings on both sides provide a comfortable place to lift the flat-topped lid. It opens on wooden pivots to reveal an uncluttered, leather-lined interior for everyday essentials and keepsakes.
